The smell of Jasmine

Stickers! I love them :]
I went to a store yesterday and bought myself quite a few packs for decorating my letters to my friends far away. I don't think my addiction will ever end. I'll keep collecting more and more, but atleast I use them. I don't think I could just acquire tons over time and then never use them.

Anyway, that was very unimportant.
Today I learned how to keep flowers from dying and turning nasty colors after you pluck them. I don't know how long they stay perky yet, but I'm surprised they've stayed so bright and open after a couple of hours already. Apparently all you have to do is wet a paper towel, wrap it around the stems and then wrap around that with foil.

Muy muy facil.

Tonight should be a lovely night because I'm going out with some girls for dinner. And tomorrow I'm going to play pool and bowl with some guys. It's a nice after the semester time. I'm very glad for my friends and I will miss them for the next couple of months.

For now I'm watching always sunny, loving the weather, and breathing in the fresh scent of Jasmine from my undying flowers.

las nubes son asi, las flores son asi, y yo soy asi. feliz.

Thanks for the comment! My husband and I were just talking about the TV thing this weekend! We have cable now, but I've hardly been watching it in the days I'm home being a housewife; I mostly just listen to music or read! We're considering cancelling our cable and just having basic TV service so we can still get the news and our favorite prime time shows. I love your library idea! :)

I actually know a family that only has one tv and its for video games that their kids play (mostly together or with the family) and the kids are always reading and talking about their new books. I really like the idea of fostering an imagination and vocabulary like that. And yet, I still want my kids to be open to understanding pop culture bc I probably wouldnt be able to give it up, based on the fact that I'm addicted to learing about modern culture.

Another good idea I think is going back to radio shows which are great for imaginations!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I too love to decorate letters and cards with stickers. As a matter of fact, I keep it up all year long, as I keep a few pen-pals which allow me to do so.
And yes, Hansel and Gretel in English isn't my most favorite thing in the world, but as expected, it ended up being totally beautiful.
