Veggie Tales? and/or Reaching for the Son
As in... the ever continuing story of my vegetables :]
I dried some cucumber seeds a couple of days ago and then planted them. They've already begun to grow and I am beyond happy! The wierd thing is though...I've got four shoots growing out of this one pot and they are all different. Non of them look anything like the other. I don't know if that's normal since I'm such novice gardener haha.
Anyway, it doesnt matter to me as long as I can see that life-loving green color bursting its way out of the dirt reaching for the sun. Or in my more literal case reaching for the Son. Something I could always try harder at.
Something I love. Someone I love.
Ahhhh and this is why I adore The Boy and The Cynic album by John Reuben. Super talented and words that mirror my own mind, but with intellect haha.
I feel like he would get how I connect my reach for the Son with the peacefulness of the world around me and nature. Like in his lyrics for "All I have"
"No this ain’t a movie this is real life, the spot light don’t shine quite as bright as some might like, but that’s alright cuz the starlight at night is more of a highlight than the highlife."
GOD BLESS YOU JOHN REUBEN!
Okaaaaaay and to END. I finished Peircing the Darkness by Frank E. Peretti. Brilliant novel.
His mind must be reeling every second of the day with ideas.
