City Slick
Well today has been great. I've got lots of ideas for upcoming sunday school classes and etc. Also the middle school musical has begun and for the past two years I've dedicated my time to that so I am very excited to begin the process again. It's crazy hardwork, but that's what I love about it.
Although I love acting, I find that coaching kids in it is so wonderful and fulfilling.
Add to that lines, songs, props, stage managing, etc. It's a lot of hardwork for three days of entertainment.
So...here we go again.
My Dad recommended this great murder mystery book to me called Bone by Bone by Carol O'Connell. I don't read too many of these, but so far I am really enjoying it. It's such a fast paced and interesting book and the characters are so well developed in such a short time.
Also, I finished What I Know for Sure by Tavis Smiley and can continue to say I absolutely love reading autobiographies. People are always interesting to me and when they put themselves out there I want to read about them. Inspiring and challenging.
Well, I guess the last thing I've got say is that my cucumbers are doing GREAT! I'm so happy that I haven't killed them. The sprouts are only perhaps one inch high, but something about taking care of a living and growing thing really makes me happy.
***I need a nap, seriously. I train-traveled, taxi-traveled, and trekked Bs As like a tourist today. It was ridiculously hot and I cannot wait for some slightly cooler weather. But for now, a nap.
